Courses

These courses have been inspired by my experiences as a veterinary nurse and as a rescue volunteer, but also by all of the questions I get asked about all the time by friends, family and owners on social media.

I have developed two courses aimed at dispelling potentially harmful misinformation and bridging the gap between clinical care and owner knowledge, thus empowering owners with deeper, accurate and evidence-led knowledge. All of which will help to  keep our rabbits happy and healthy!

                                          Bunny Bootcamp

                                Coming early autumn 2025 ...

This course is designed for more experienced owners, or adult Bunny Basecamp graduates, who have a good understanding about rabbit body systems but want to feel more informed so that they feel more confident working with their vet. This course will map against some of the more commonly seen illnesses and emergencies and introduce you to the rudiments of:

- Fluid therapy - why might one vet give an injection of fluids but another vet advises an intravenous drip? What is the rationale?

- Dental x-rays. How they can help your vet - and you, support your rabbit!

- Anaesthesia - let's bust some myths with some common FAQs from owners

- Analgesia - why sometimes more than one drug will help
