School talks and career fairs

I really enjoy educating people of all ages about rabbit care, but I particularly enjoy seeing young people engage. During my many years in practice and teaching, I have delivered innumerable workshops and interactive talks to groups of adults, and children from about the age of seven upwards.  These younger ones are often the ones who want to learn the tricky words too!

If you're interested in booking me for a talk, either in-person, online or via a pre-recorded webinar, drop me a line!

I can provide references and have a recently updated enhanced DBS certificate.

Community events and home consultations

If you would like me to come along to a community event and give a talk, I would be absolutely delighted to do that. I'm happy to deliver content on the basics of rabbit health, or if you have a group of more experienced owners or carers, I can deliver a talk on more advanced aspects of critical care, to help provide greater knowledge and context for our more challenging bunnies.

If you have a set-up for your rabbits but you're stuck for ideas about how to improve, or you'd like some advice about expanding the bunny empire, creating enrichment, supporting your older or disabled bunny or improving nutrition, I'm happy to meet online or in person for a tailored consultation.

*Please note: RVNs are not permitted to diagnose  illness, perform surgery or prescribe medication. Consultations at home or online are for general husbandry, care and general clinical questions only.  As per the Terms and Conditions, if your rabbit is unwell, it is your responsibility to contact a veterinary surgeon.

Animal care study support

I can provide academic support to college and university students who are undertaking animal care studies from Level 3-6.

I have sixteen years of teaching a variety of clinical and professional skills to veterinary medicine and veterinary nursing students, as well as providing academic writing support and final year project supervision.
